A note to my younger self:
A year after Uni, you left a cushy 9-5 job and joined the financial planning industry.
Your path was tough. Many times you wanted to give up. But it wasn’t an option as you had to prove to your family that you had made the right choice. Luckily, you met many encouraging fellow teammates who helped you to trudge on.
Throughout your journey, you will serve many families and make many friends. You will also reap financial rewards that allow you to enjoy the finer things in life and travel extensively.
Most importantly, you will realise that the precious fuel that keeps you going is the appreciation people show you when you make claims for them.
May you continue to find happiness and purpose in your future endeavors.
