My initial motive for my career switch from an ICU-trained nurse to join this industry was because this career provides me control of time to spend with my cancer-stricken father, looking after my little daughter and at the same time support the family financially. Indeed this career not only provide me what money cannot buy – time, I am also helping others mitigate financial hardship caused by an illness or pre-matured death of the loved one.

I am a strong advocate for the value of life insurance as a financial tool to protect the clients’ hard-earned income. A simple and responsible act of putting a plan in place, committing to a known sum (the premium) is great wisdom; The risk of loss of life savings to a BIG UNKNOWN BILL: the hospital and medical expenses, the loss of income due to disability or death is now transferred to the Insurer. What a beautiful and practical act of love for oneself and the family.

Being with Great Eastern Life (GEL) for the last 21 years, I am grateful to be in this ‘GREAT’ company; GEL provides great solutions that can meet my clients’ needs and there are great self-development programmes helping me uphold my professionalism.

I hope to serve my clients better, helping them fulfil their dreams in the different milestones of their life. Through intentional planning, I hope my clients will leave a legacy behind for their next generation and still enjoy their own retirement comfortably.

Our work never ceases, I believe the younger ones need to join this industry to continue this beautiful legacy of life insurance for many generations to come.
